Cornerhood dust extraction shroud is a breakthrough tool that allows concrete grinding and concrete polishing along walls and into corners without restriction

The body is stamped from steel with a welded steel mounting collar and welded steel dust port tube for strength and durability.

It incorporates a unique mounting system with precision molded inserts to fit most 5" angle grinders or 7" polishers tightly so it cannot wobble or come loose.

In use this dust extraction shroud floats across the floor without seal friction or suck down to provide ultimate control for the operator.

It is specially designed to provide front and side edging sections and to position the vacuum port away from the walls so that the vacuum hose will not interfere with the access to the corner.

When fitted to an angle grinder with a diamond cupwheel Cornerhood completes the system to become a very efficient, hand-held, dustless floor grinder, floor edger and floor polisher.

Cornerhood features

Two edging sections and a square body profile enable concrete grinding and concrete polishing tight into corners

Built strong from steel so it will not warp or twist in the sun or wear out prematurely

With exact-fitting inserts for each grinder brand it always locks on tightly to the angle grinder with no movement

The air flows under the seal where the dust is generated giving it superior dust pick up

The seal wears with the cupwheel diamonds and can be moved down again so the seal will last for up to five cupwheels

It is friction-less so that grinding is smooth and effortless

The edging features makes sure you can grind right up against walls with complete dust control

The cover for the edging features is hook & loop attached - tested under the worst dust conditions and only takes a couple of seconds to remove or replace

No tools are required to adjust the main seal which is also hook & loop attached to the body so it can be adjusted anytime to suit the surface or when a new cupwheel is fitted
