We bring
you the very best dustless technology
for concrete grinding
Our dust extraction
shrouds pick up more concrete dust than
other brands
The
combination of a strong, fixed position,
steel dust shroud with an adjustable
seal where all the air is forced in at
floor level
picks up more dust
more
easily
with less vacuum power.
Dust shroud with
corner feature

Dustless
technology for a superior dust
shroud

These
features make them easier to use and
safer because they glide across the
floor with no friction picking up all
the dust.
The right air/dust
mix
It is only
when airflow is directed at floor
level under the seal that the concrete
dust is mixed properly with air and
extracted via the outlet tube.
Non-metal flexible shrouds close off and
seal the floor area which prevents the
natural flow of air around the grinding
wheel.
As the
diamonds cut into the concrete air is
drawn in at high velocity around the
grinding wheel where the
dust is generated and follows a
spinning action outwards
and upwards to the outlet tube which is
strategically located and dimensioned to
remove the dust in the most efficient
manner.
Patent
pending
Situp
Product's dust shrouds also have
patent-pending dustless technology for
their edging feature. Most shrouds have
a very large open area at the front for
the purpose of grinding against a wall
which can only operate dustless if they
are connected to a large vacuum system.
Situp Product's shrouds have sealed over this area
except for a small opening where the grinding wheel
protrudes which eliminates the need for
a high powered vacuum for hand grinding.
This means
that our shrouds will throw less dust
when edging even if you are using a
single motor vacuum dust collector.
More
efficiency with less hose
We
recommend that you use a vacuum hose of
35mm or 11/2 inch diameter.
It is not necessary to use a heavy,
larger hose because our dustless
technology is more efficient. Smaller
hoses are easier to use and eliminate
"fighting" the hose which means more
accurate grinding control and less
fatigue.
